Flies
and other winged insects are attracted by the ultraviolet
light (harmless for humans and pets). The sticky pad is laced
with a sexual attractor (pheromones) which also helps to lure
the insects onto the pad from which there is no escape.
The ultraviolet light being emitted by a special purpose
luminescent strip lamp in the No-Zap
Flytrap
is powerful enough to attract bacteria-loaded flying insects
within a large radius. The sticky pad can trap a thousand
insects before a pad change is needed.
Maintenance-friendly
- The sticky pad is easily changed without contacting the
remains of dead insects. Pad should be changed as required.
Long-lasting ultraviolet bulbs should be replaced once each year
for maximum efficiency.
Silent
and odorless
- No
burning smell or sparking noise is produced. It does not ZAP
flies into multiple pieces and fling their parts back into the
area creating a health hazard. Flies are totally contained
within the unit.
